If you’re looking for a great, competitively priced and attractive venue to hold your wedding reception, with ample free parking and set in a beautiful rural location with picturesque views across to the Malvern Hills – then look no further than The Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall.

For a very affordable hire fee of just £835.00 you get exclusive use of our rural location heritage site and the complete Hall building with its up-to-date amenities for a whole 48 hour weekend – from 1:30 pm on the Friday to 1:30 pm on the Sunday*.

Built originally in 1920, extended in the mid-1990’s and now fully modernised your 48-hour weekend hire of our Memorial Hall and grounds includes:

- ample free parking on site with overflow car park space available covered by CCTV
- efficient, controllable air-source heating in both halls
- free Wi-Fi throughout the building
- a pull-down screen in the Small Hall for showing film and video
- use of the adjoining one-acre recreation field included for the duration of the hire - perfect for marquees and barbeques
- step free access to the Small Hall and ramped access if needed to the Large Hall
- fabulous views across to the Malvern Hills
- exclusive use of the whole site for 48 hours and
- a complimentary bottle of fizz and a box of chocolates from the Trustees!
- two self-contained, linked halls that can accommodate up to 310 people
- a fully fitted kitchen with all the appliances you would expect, and two serving hatches to the small hall
- two self-contained sets of toilets at either end of the building (male, female and accessible)
- baby changing facilities in each accessible toilet
- a bar room with serving hatches into both halls
- a generously sized entrance lobby/reception area
- a curtained stage at one end of the Large Hall with direct exterior access
- a selection of tables and chairs (stored in the walk-in room at the end of the Small Hall) and crockery in the kitchen

The Smaller of the two halls – which can accommodate up to 150 people – measures approximately 6.0m x 10.7m and the Larger hall – which can accommodate an additional 160 people – measures approximately 7.8m x 15.7m.

This means you’ll have plenty of room to entertain your guests as the two halls are linked by a folding door that can be drawn right back to make one large area. Alternatively, you can keep them closed to create two separate spaces – for example you could use one of the halls as the dining area and the other for dancing, etc. Flexibility means that the choice is yours!

Our competitive weekend Wedding Package gives you exclusive use of the entire Memorial Hall complex over 48 hours, (i.e., both halls and both sets of toilets; baby changing facilities; the lobby; fully fitted kitchen with serving hatches; adjacent bar, field and parking areas).

The south-facing front of the building looks out over a flat recreational field of approximately 1 acre, which adds to the picturesque setting, with views across to the Malvern Hills – a great backdrop for those photographs and videos you and your friends will want to take to remember your special day! And the field itself is large enough to erect a marquee, barbecue or bouncy castle should that be part of your Reception plan.

Your hire starts at 1:30 pm on the Friday and goes right through until 1:30 pm on Sunday*. This gives you and your helpers plenty of time before the start of Saturday Reception to decorate the hall, dress the tables; maybe stock the bar and sort the catering items; then, on the Sunday morning enough time to clear away and clean through using our End of Hire checklist – which is also a condition of hire.

*If your Wedding Reception is planned for a different day of the week, we may be able to offer you (subject to availability) the 48-hour package at the same all-inclusive price to fit in with your arrangements. For example, if your Reception is on a Thursday, during certain weeks we may be able to offer exclusive access from 1:30 pm on the Wednesday to 1:30 pm on the Friday. This would, however, have to be manually booked by us – so please contact our booking assistant on 07792 867148 in the first instance to let us know your requirements.
