If you’re looking for a great, competitively priced venue to hold your wedding reception set in a beautiful rural location, then look no further than The Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall.
For a very competitive hire fee of just £595.00 you get exclusive use of our heritage site and building from 1pm on the Friday to 1 pm on the Sunday.
Built originally in 1920, extended in the mid-1970s and now fully modernised your 48-hour weekend hire of our Memorial Hall and grounds includes:
- two self-contained, linked halls that can accommodate up to 310 people
- a fully fitted kitchen with a new fridge and freezer and serving hatches to the small hall
- two self-contained sets of toilets (male, female and accessible) with baby changing facilities in each accessible toilet
- a bar room with serving hatches into both halls
- a generously sized entrance lobby/reception area
- a curtained stage at one end of the large hall with direct exterior access
- a selection of tables and chairs and crockery
- ample parking on site with overflow car park space available
- efficient air-source heating
- free use of the adjoining field for the duration of the hire
- fabulous view across to the Malvern Hills
- exclusive use of the whole site for 48 hours and
- a complimentary bottle of fizz and a box of chocolates from the Trustees!

The Smaller of the two halls – which can accommodate up to 150 people – measures approximately 6.1m x 11.9m and the Larger hall – which can accommodate an additional 160 people – measures approximately 8.5m x 16.4m.
This means you’ll have plenty of room to entertain your guests as the two halls are linked by a folding door that can be drawn right back to make one large area. Alternatively you can keep them closed to create two separate spaces – for example you could use one of the halls as the dining area and the other for dancing, etc. Flexibility means that he choice is yours!
Our competitive weekend Wedding Package gives you exclusive use of the entire community hall complex over 48 hours, (i.e. both halls and both sets of toilets; baby changing facilities; the lobby; central, fully fitted kitchen with serving hatches; adjacent bar, field and parking areas).
You hire starts at 1pm on the Friday through to 1pm on Sunday. This gives you and your helpers plenty of time before the Reception to decorate the hall, dress the tables; maybe stock the bar and sort the catering items; then, on the Sunday morning enough time to clear away and clean through.
To the front of the halls we have a flat field of approximately 2 acres, which adds to the picturesque setting with views across to the Malvern Hills – a great backdrop for those photographs and videos you and your friends will want to take to remember your special day! And the field itself is large enough to erect a marquee, barbecue or bouncy castle should that be part of your Reception plan.
If some of your guests are travelling from afar then we also have space for up to 5 caravan and/or tent pitches that may be booked separately in this beautiful location, at just £10 per 24 hours per pitch. Access to the camping field is through a securely locked gate from the car park. As you’ll be hiring the hall for 48 hours any of your guests who may want to camp overnight (subject to the £10 per day additional charge per pitch) will have access to the building’s facilities (toilets, kitchen etc) during that 48 hour period.
Occasionally, however, our wedding parties feel they need a little longer than 48 hours – in which case it may be possible to book extra time either before and/or after the inclusive 48-hour period. Just check availability on the online booking page and remember you’ll qualify for a discount on the standard hourly rates for the additional hours (subject to availability).
Finally, if you’re planning to have your wedding and Reception during the week rather than over a weekend, just contact us and we may be able to offer you the same 48-hour package over your chosen days at the same fantastic price.
